The two forms featured on this pin are excerpted from an early exploration into how couples and pairings fit into gestural abstractions. The painting series B.I. culminated in an exhibition entitled, Bad, Immediately, in 2021. Removing the gestures and focusing in on the doubled forms highlights the artist's interest in thinking through whether the existence of two similar things signal exchangeability or relations between.
